Our epic signature 1 day private tour from Barcelona explores the breathtaking Mediterranean coastline of the South of France’s stunning Côte Vermeille. After a breakfast stop, we arrive at the beautiful French seaside village Collioure in the Languedoc-Roussillon district, famed for its scenery and wines. The beauty of Collioure has always attracted and inspired artists like Matisse & Picasso. We stroll around the delightful, chic village streets full of small galleries with works by contemporary artists who still flock to Collioure. We admire the soaring 7th century medieval Château Royal royal castle. From Collioure we travel back towards the Spanish border, following the serpentine coastal wine route that has panoramic views of the South of France Côte Vermeille. The steep terraced vineyards can only be worked entirely by hand. Along the route through the vineyards and villages with sweeping sea views, we stop for lunch at a village, before heading inland and back to Barcelona.
