West Tokyo: A Night Out at Your Guide's Favorite Izakayas

Go beyond a list of restaurant recommendations and spend an evening at two izakayas your local guide knows and enjoys. Choose Hachioji, Tachikawa, or Kichijoji, then meet directly in your selected neighborhood. Your guide will help you navigate Japanese menus, choose dishes and drinks, and understand the relaxed rhythm of an izakaya evening. Share your tastes at the start; the two venues are selected according to your preferences and what is open and available. Along the way, enjoy conversation about the neighborhood and everyday life in Tokyo. A JPY 3,000 allowance per person is included: JPY 1,500 at each venue for food, drinks, and mandatory seating or appetizer charges. Extra orders are optional and paid for separately. This approximately two-hour walking experience takes place in one area only and ends near the second venue.
