Discover the Kawarau Gorge Trail, on this spectacular self-guided eBike experience connecting the magnificent wine regions of Gibbston to those in Bannockburn. The 39km route travels alongside the stunning Kawarau River, showcasing beautiful rocky outcrops, historic gold mining settlements, venturing through previously inaccessible terrain before joining up to the Lake Dunstan Trail in Bannockburn, for a leisurely ride around the inlet to the Kiwi Journeys depot in Cromwell. The trail has largely been sculpted through the backcountry, therefore it is important that riders are up to the challenge of cycling in an unsupported manner for 32km.
