Shared Shore Excursion: Taormina & Castelmola from Messina Por

The tour departs from the Messina port terminal; your driver will pick you up at your ship's gangway. In 45 minutes, we will arrive in Castelmola, a picturesque village in Sicily located just a few kilometers from Taormina. Perched on a hill at an altitude of approximately 530 meters, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Ionian coast and Mount Etna. After spending about an hour exploring the village's charms, we will head to Taormina, where you will have 2 to 3 hours of free time to visit one of Sicily's most beautiful cities. Next, we will make a brief stop at one of Taormina's finest viewpoints, giving you the chance to take memorable photos. On the return journey to Messina, we will stop to visit the Cathedral, famous for its bell tower, which houses the world's largest and most complex mechanical and astronomical clock. To conclude the tour, we will escort you back to your ship's gangway.
