About this experience
Visit a different area of the El Yunque Rainforest. With the guidance of your private guide you will embark on an estimate 30-minute hike that will take you to the forest rivers, natural pools and waterfalls. Learn important and interesting facts about the only Tropical Rainforest in the US Forest System. Let your senses bring you back to the times where the Taino roamed thru this same forest.
We will spend an average of 3-4 hours at the Forest, depending on your pace and interests, followed by a lunch stop (food cost not included).
Participants must meet certain Safety Requirements and Limitations for this activity.
If interested on a subtle, low impact experience we offer another version that visits the National Park area. Here you will go to El Portal, La Coca Waterfall (for taking pictures) and the Yocahú Observation Tower. Upon request we can also add a final stop at a 20 minutes trail that leads to the river.
