Curicancha Natural Walk

What makes this experience special at Curi-Cancha Reserve is the opportunity to explore the forest accompanied by a local naturalist guide specializing in bird watching, with years dedicated to knowledge of Monteverde’s fauna and ecosystems. Its excellent trails allow you to discover impressive strangler Ficuses and even explore the interior of some of these magnificent trees, important for species such as toucans, parrots, parakeets, trogons and, in season, the Shining Quetzal. During approximately 3 hours of birdwatching and wildlife watching, you will tour forests and open areas that create different natural habitats. In a pleasant and accessible walk you can experience two fascinating living areas, increasing the opportunities to find an extraordinary diversity of birds and fauna of the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
