Historic Vitoria Gasteiz Group Walking Tour

Discover Vitoria-Gasteiz with a historian — not just a tour guide. Explore the historic heart of Vitoria-Gasteiz in a relaxed small group of no more than 8 people. Led by a historian with a PhD in Contemporary History, author of two books on Basque history published by Routledge, and with more than a decade of experience living in the Basque Country, this tour is designed to help you understand the city — and the fascinating history of the Basque Country around it. As you walk through the medieval streets and historic squares, we'll explore the people, events and changes that have shaped Vitoria-Gasteiz and the wider Basque Country, from medieval origins to the present day. This is more than a sightseeing walk. It's a chance to look beyond the obvious, ask questions and have a conversation about the places you visit, while gaining a deeper understanding of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Basque Country.
