Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon Hike and Barbecue Experience

Explore the Korouoma Canyon in autumn, when the landscape transforms into a mix of golden forests, rugged cliffs, and flowing waterfalls. Operated by The Original Aurora Hunters®, Arctic GM is a family-run company with roots in Lapland dating back to the 1600s, combining local knowledge with a focus on small-group experiences and guided hiking. After pickup, you will travel to Korouoma Nature Reserve, one of Finland’s most impressive canyon areas. The hike takes you through forest trails and along the canyon floor, passing waterfalls and scenic viewpoints that are especially vibrant during autumn. The pace is moderate, with time to enjoy the surroundings, take photos, and learn about the local nature and landscape. During the hike, you will stop to enjoy a traditional Lapland barbecue in a natural setting.
