30 minute horse trek with views over Lake Rotorua

Your horse treks offer a personal, small-group experience with a maximum of five riders on most departures, allowing guides to provide individual attention and support throughout the ride. Unlike larger commercial horse-trekking operations, we tailor the experience to the confidence and ability of your riders. Whether you're riding for the first time, bringing young children, or returning to the saddle after many years, we work to ensure you feel comfortable and enjoy your time with the horses. Your treks take riders through scenic farmland with elevated viewpoints overlooking Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island. Guests can enjoy a relaxed walking-pace ride while connecting with friendly horses and experiencing Rotorua's countryside from a unique perspective. For nervous riders or families with younger children, we can change to a flatter route. Please let us know when booking if you think that you may prefer not to go up the hill.
