Bogotá Hummingbird Feeder Session in La Calera Cloud Forest

This is the easiest way to meet Andean hummingbirds up close. Up to 15 species can visit the feeders, including the Sword-billed Hummingbird, the only bird with a bill longer than its body. There is no hiking and no long transfers: a private vehicle takes your group from Bogotá and back by about 1:00 PM, with a snack box on the way. The route is designed by a biologist and led by a professional Faunaris guide, who helps you identify what you see. Groups are limited to 8 guests. It suits first-time birdwatchers, photographers and birders with binoculars. No species is guaranteed.
