On our return, we visit a Sámi Siida near Skarsvåg, where the Somby family welcomes you personally into their traditions.
Step inside their lávvu, taste reindeer meat and Sámi cake (sweet bread), learn about their 8 seasons as reindeer herders, discover how the traditional joik originates from nature and emotion. You’ll also get to try lasso throwing, a cherished Sámi skill.
