Winery and Salt Mine: PREMIUM TOUR small group

The Slanic Salt Mine, also known as the Unirea Mine, is the largest salt mine in Romania and is considered the largest visitable salt mine in Europe. Various facilities are arranged for tourists such as: sports fields, children's playgrounds, activity areas such as air hockey, billiards, mini-golf and carting. The salt mine also has a souvenir shop and a grocery store, and for relaxation there is a cafe. On the surface, tourists can see the saltwater lake and the waterfall, as well as a museum where you can see machinery used for salt mining. Enjoy a walk through the vineyards and a wine tasting with selected varieties. The journey takes approximately 8-10 hours depending on traffic.
