About this experience
Gaucho Ranch El Ombú de Areco
In San Antonio de Areco, we take a panoramic tour, admiring the corners without chamfers, a tradition of our countryside. We'll visit iconic buildings such as the San Antonio de Padua Parish and the Bessonart grocery store, among others. You'll also visit the Draghi goldsmith's workshop (optional) and the Navarro rope maker, both internationally renowned.
We head to the ranch, located a 20-minute walk away in the middle of the Pampas plain. After a brief introduction to the property and a lovely horseback (or carriage) ride to explore the property's 350 hectares, you'll be invited to enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch served, weather permitting, in the shade of ancient trees or in the ranch's lounge. You'll then have the opportunity to admire a demonstration of gaucho skill with a horse and its gentleness, as well as traditional Argentine music and dance.
