About this experience
This is a new hike, also included in the coming Jubilee Year 2025.
In this tour we include a guided tour, to visit the Benedictine Abbey built in the year 1011.
You will learn the history about the foundation of the Abbey, and later of the town of Cava de' Tirreni (SA).
You will walk on the path that thousand of pilgrims used to walk on, as a sign of Christian devotion.
It is, also, hiking to the Amalfi Coast, in fact we will have views of the Coast, towns and villages of Vietri sul mare, Raito, Cetara, Maiori, and Ravello; the volcano Vesuvius, and the Lattari Mountains.
Meet wild horses, goats & sheep roaming freely on the path, with chances to admire peregrine falcons flying over your heads.
The hike is classified as E, MODERATE. We will walk a total distance of 12 km ( 7 miles).
You need to wear hiking shoes, and we suggest to bring at least one walking stick to use whilst hiking.
