Transnistria is already one of Europe's most unusual destinations, but even many visitors never discover one of its best-kept secrets: a remarkable collection of Soviet mosaics hidden across towns and villages rarely visited by foreign travelers. This is the only tour that brings them together in a single experience. Departing from Chisinau, you'll travel across Transnistria in search of more than 13 Soviet mosaics and 4 monumental bas-reliefs located in Bender, Ghisca, Tiraspol and Sucleia. Created during the Soviet era, these artworks were designed to inspire, educate and communicate the values of their time. While many similar works disappeared elsewhere after 1991, dozens have survived here almost unchanged. No museums, no queues and no entrance tickets.
