GENOA from Crusades to Cruises

A catchy title to stimulate curiosity about a city that is often the victim of many clichés used by those who do not know it. Then come after me if you want to meet the authentic millenary history of Genoa as witnessed by what was saved from the destructive action of the pickaxe and bulldozers in recent decades. Two similar words "Crusades" and "Cruises" to indicate the beginning of written history and the present day of Genoa.
