Hakone Private Hiking Tour to Mt. Kintoki with Mt. Fuji View

Enjoy a 4 to 4.5-hour hike to the highest peak in Hakone’s outer rim mountains on this tour. The second half of the hike becomes quite steep. A moderate level of fitness is recommended to get to the summit. However, the effort is well worth it! On the summit, you can see breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and Hakone’s volcanic landscape on clear days!! The highlights are not only the beautiful views. This mountain is also the setting of Japan’s famous legends, “the legend of Kintaro”. Along the trail, you will visit places connected to the legend, including Kintoki Shrine and Kintoki Yadori-ishi Rock. A certified local mountain guide will introduce you to the local culture behind the legend and Hakone’s unique nature. At the summit, there is a mountain hut where we will enjoy lunch. Relax and take in the scenery while trying Japanese food in a unique mountain setting. After the challenging climb, the meal at the summit will taste truly special!
