Step inside a Ming Dynasty beautiful Buddhist Temple: Zhihua Temple, a place of serenity and harmony. Zhihua Temple is an architectural and cultural gem that stands as a testament to the richness of both Buddhism and Chinese heritage. This temple has a fascinating long history, going all the way back to the middle era of the Ming Dynasty (1443 A.D.). It was originally the family temple of Wang Zhen, who was a Grand Eunuch of the Ming Dynasty. Afterwards, let's take a stroll inside the local neighborhood and to visit the Hutong Museum, which nestled in a traditional well-preserved Beijing Courtyard. The exhibition at the Shijia Hutong Museum tells the life story of the former owner of this courtyard, as well as its history and the culture of traditional hutong life in Beijing.
