What we will explore together: The Catacombs of the Larderia: We will enter the largest catacomb complex in southeastern Sicily. The Gymnasium: We will discover a rare example of Hellenistic-Roman architecture carved into the rock.. Pernamazzoni Village: We will admire the incredible multi-storey cave dwellings, embedded in the limestone walls like an ancient human hive. The Sicano Castle: An impregnable fortress suspended in the void, testimony of the ancient populations. Necropolis of Calicantone: A jump back to the Bronze Age, to observe the monumental faux-pillar façades. 6 km or 10 km tour (see options) Moderate hike that does not have major differences in altitude.
