Golden Circle of Iceland: More Than a Classic Tour

Experience an expanded private Golden Circle journey that goes beyond the classic route, combining Iceland’s remarkable landscapes with its history, geology and local culture. Explore Þingvellir National Park, where Iceland’s ancient Alþingi was founded and the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. See Öxarárfoss waterfall and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Þingvallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake. Continue through Haukadalur to Geysir and Strokkur, followed by spectacular Gullfoss. Meet Icelandic horses and visit Friðheimar, a geothermal greenhouse where tomatoes are grown year-round using natural geothermal energy. The route also includes Kerið volcanic crater and an additional panoramic location personally selected as part of my private itinerary for its distinctive Icelandic landscape. Laugarvatn Fontana can be added as an optional experience, extending the tour by approximately 1.5 hours. It includes a traditional geothermal bread-baking tour.
