From Snow to Steam: Snowshoes and Sauna

From Snow to Steam combines two sides of Arctic life in one experience. We start in Tromsø and head into the surrounding nature, with the exact snowshoeing location chosen by our guide according to the day’s snow and weather conditions. After learning the basics, we’ll explore snowy forests, fjords or scenic landscapes at a comfortable pace, stopping for photos, stories and a homemade snack with a hot drink. Back in Tromsø, snowshoes come off and swimwear goes on! At Pust, the iconic floating sauna in the city center, your guide will introduce you to the sauna experience through heat, steam and breathing, including a simple guided ritual to help you slow down and relax. And if you’re curious, you can take an optional dip in the Arctic sea before returning to the warmth of the sauna. Snow and sea, movement and rest, cold and warmth — all in one Arctic adventure.
