Galway Tasting & Walking Food Tour

Discover Galway through its history, food and drink, on a small-group tour limited to just 12 guests. We’ll begin with a brief introduction to Galway’s fascinating history before visiting three locally owned venues, with historical landmarks and stories along the way. From Eyre Square, we’ll take a short walk to a modern contemporary bar and restaurant, where you’ll taste their exclusive gin alongside locally sourced food. Next, we’ll visit a local family-run business, nestled in the shadow of a church from the 1840s. Here, you’ll sample a selection of Irish cheeses and meats with a glass of wine, while hearing about Galway’s historic connections to the world's wine trade. Our final stop is one of Galway’s oldest pubs. Learn about the history of this protected building before settling into one of its traditional snugs for either a pint, an Irish whiskey flight, Irish Coffee. Tour duration: 2.5 hours
