About this experience
Travel from Uluru to Alice Springs via Kings Canyon on a private one-day charter through the spectacular landscapes of Central Australia at your own pace. Discover ancient geology, desert flora and fauna, Aboriginal culture, and iconic Red Centre landmarks. Along the way, we stop at Curtin Springs Restaurant for a short meal (at your expense). Next, we stop at Mount Conner Lookout, famously known as “Fooluru,” and view an ancient inland salt lake. Explore Kings Canyon on the spectacular self-guided 6-kilometre Rim Walk, including the Garden of Eden and breathtaking 360-degree views. Allow 3–4 hours, with about 500 steep steps at the start. Enjoy a break at Kings Creek Station before continuing to Erldunda Roadhouse. Then we stop at Erldunda Roadhouse to see the famous “Centre of the Centre” survey post and spot local emus, where you can feed the emus. Your journey concludes with drop-off at your Alice Springs accommodation.
