This helps us avoid hours of jeep traffic jams, and we can reach the Bromo Crater earlier, before most other visitors arrive. After enjoying the sunrise and the stunning views of Mount Bromo from above, we will continue to the Bromo Crater parking area. You will have approximately 1.5–2 hours to explore the area. Once at the top, you can stand on the edge of Mount Bromo’s crater and see the active volcanic crater up close, while enjoying the unique volcanic landscape surrounding it. Take your time to explore, take photos, and experience the dramatic scenery of one of Indonesia’s most iconic volcanoes.
