You launch from Sarangkot, Pokhara's main paragliding site at 1,592m, after a short briefing from your certified tandem pilot. A few steps forward, and the ground just isn't there anymore. For 25 minutes you glide above Phewa Lake, green hills, and small villages, with Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, and Himchuli in view the whole time. Eagles and vultures often share the same thermal currents. Landing happens near Lakeside, close to where you started.
